Dr. Michael Bailou Huang is a Licensed Acupuncturist in New York State and Doctor of Acupuncture in Rhode Island. He was certified in Clean Needle Technique by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2004. Dr. Huang is an experienced acupuncturist and is committed to providing the highest quality of personalized healthcare in a relaxed setting. In addition to his active practice, he is a faculty member at the Health Sciences Library of Stony Brook University.

Acupuncture for Infertility

After many years of trying and several failed pregnancies my husband and I elected to move onto IVF accompanied with acupuncture treatment.  Dr. Huang is simply a tremendous acupuncturists.  He is knowledgeable and understanding.  We are so excited that only with a few months of treatment our IVF cycle was successful and we will be welcoming our first son shortly.  We cannot begin to thank Dr. Huang for his compassion and involvement on helping us achieve a long, and at times, uncertain dream. 

Acupuncture for Infertility 

After trying to conceive for 14 months my husband and I decided that instead of seeing a doctor for very pricey and invasive procedures that I would try Infertility Acupuncture as an alternate form of medicine, and that's when I found Michael. I really didn't know much about acupuncture in general but figured that it would be worth a shot.  When I met with Michael I felt confident that he might be able to help me and I felt like he wanted me to be a success story.  Well after 5 weeks of treatment I became pregnant.  I don't know how or why, but I did; I was pregnant.  What truly amazed me about this whole surreal experience is that when I went to see Michael on Wednesday he knew that I was pregnant already just by my pulse and other strange symptoms.  I was not even due for my period yet so I warned Michael that I was obsessed with getting pregnant and that he should not "tease" me like that because I would go home and take a test.  Well the next morning I decided to take a pregnancy test and as I began to throw it away like I did 14 times before that the test was POSITIVE!  I am so thankful to Michael for helping my husband and I achieve this wonderful gift.  I would highly recommend Michael to any couple that has any Infertility issue.

Gemma is 19 months old now!

Infertility (with two failed IVFs)

Our lives turned 90 degrees since we started the acupuncture treatment with Michael Huang. My wife couldn’t get pregnant and we had to undergo IVF treatment, so we went through the vicious IVF cycle – TWICE - with negative results. Michael told us he can help, so we gave his treatment a chance in conjunction with a third IVF cycle. To our joy, after 2 months of acupuncture, the third IVF cycle was a success, we are expecting a new family member in December. Thank you, Michael!
